An award-winning broadcaster and writer, Fergal Keane began his career reporting on ‘the Troubles’ in Northern Ireland and for more than three decades has been a witness to conflicts around the world, including the Rwandan genocide, the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, the war in Ukraine, and the Israel - Palestine conflict.
